Dr. Coleman O. Clougherty

Dr. Coleman O. Clougherty brings his surgical and clinical experience and expertise in the field of foot and ankle medicine and surgery to Cleveland Lower Extremity Specialists (CLE Specialists).

He is Board Qualified in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He specializes in treating complex lower limb conditions such as congenital and acquired post-traumatic angular deformities, and focuses on limb salvage of the lower extremities.

In addition, Dr. Clougherty has extensive experience in muscle flap procedures and peripheral nerve surgery, both primary and revisional. He has performed complex muscle flap surgeries using rotational, pedicle, and transpositional muscle flaps for leg and foot structures.

Dr. Clougherty completed his residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. He has trained in the application of the Ilizarov technique and utilizes these for the use in conditions ranging from Diabetic Charcot foot and ankle collapse, to limb deformity corrections and limb-salvage procedures. He is an active Fellow of the American Microsurgical Orthoplastic Society (AMOS). He is an active Attending Physician for the Surgical Residency Training Programs of University Hospitals and St. Vincent Charity Medical Center, and also serves as an Adjunct Faculty Member and Visiting Professor at the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Clougherty completed his undergraduate studies at John Carroll University and then obtained his Master’s degree in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University.

Dr. Mark Razzante

Dr. Mark Razzante is proud to be a part of Cleveland Lower Extremity Specialists (CLE Specialists) in his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, where he is an American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery Board Qualified surgeon in Foot and Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery.

After completing his surgical residency at St. Vincent Charity Medical Center in downtown Cleveland, he spent the last two years as a full-time faculty member where he obtained his degree in podiatric medicine and surgery. At the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, Dr. Razzante spent two years teaching in the classroom and clinic as a member of the Podiatric Surgery Department. He spent time in clinic both at Highland Hospital in Oakland, CA and Kaiser Permanente in Antioch, CA. In his second year as faculty, he was the recipient of the Samuel Merritt University Faculty of the Year award.

Beyond his surgical residency training, Dr. Razzante has completed advanced training in the Ilizarov external fixation technique, ankle arthroscopy and obtained certification for total ankle replacement.

After moving back home, Dr. Razzante is excited to spend time with his five younger brothers and get back to attending Cleveland sporting events. He also enjoys any chance he can to get outside with his wife Christina and his Yorkie Polly.

Dr. Razzante attended John Carroll University for his undergraduate education and obtained a Master's degree in Bioethics at Case Western Reserve University.
